A Breath of Fresh Air for Ward 7!

Dear Friends,

I ran for City Council in Ward 7 because Ward 7 needed - and still needs - A Breath of Fresh Air! We need new energy to create a healthy, prosperous community. You have discussed your concerns with me and I am still committed to working with you to achieve our mutual goals.

Our wonderful community is made up of people from almost every country in the world. Kind, caring, hard-working people whose needs, in some areas, have been neglected over the past few years. As a result, we are faced with many challenges.

Our community has a higher percentage of low income families and low income individuals as well as a higher percentage of unemployed people, compared to the City of Toronto. Our neighbourhood needs a City Councillor who understands our issues. I am committed to you and ready to make a difference.  Together we will make Ward 7 the envy of Toronto!

I have been living in Toronto for almost 20 years. As a Nutritionist and Community Activist, I have sought to create positive change for various communities in this city. In recent years I have focused my attention on this neighbourhood because of the rich diversity of skills and talent that we have. I look forward to working with you as your “hands-on”, accessible and approachable representative.

Thank you very much - all of you who supported me in 2006 and who continue to support me - each one of you is an angel!
