Dr. Sandra Romano Anthony (BSc, MS, MSc, PhD) is a Nutritionist and Health Promoter who teaches Nutrition and Stress Management at the University of Toronto and throughout the province of Ontario. She has also given seminars in the United States and the Caribbean. She is passionate about translating science into lay language so that everyone can understand.
Dr. Romano Anthony is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the University of the West Indies. She worked as a Research Fellow and Consultant for the World Health Organization stationed in Jamaica and the Co-operative Republic of Guyana (South America). Dr. San is a member of the North York Local Health Committee (Toronto Board of Health) and serves on the Heart and Stroke Foundationís Diversity Mission Reference Group. She has co-authored scientific papers, published articles in community newspapers and was the guest on several radio shows.
Dr. San offers workshops to various businesses, corporations, schools, religious organisations and community agencies. These workshops cover various aspects of nutrition and stress management including assertiveness, effective communication and healthy self-esteem. Dr. San is currently working on a Stress Management manual for general use.
